Privacy Policy

Celestial Vibe is operated by VP Marketing (CVR 43733303), Dyrehavevej 4, 2. th, 2930 Klampenborg, Denmark, which is the data controller for this service. We designed it to hold as little of your data as possible.

What we process

• Your birth details: used to calculate your chart. We store them on your device for the app experience; our reading cache is keyed to a one-way chart fingerprint rather than raw birth details.
• Circle details: when you add someone to Circle, the name you choose, relationship, birth date, optional birth time, and city are stored in our EU-hosted database under your account. They are private to your account and deleted when you remove that person or delete your account.
• Readings: your generated reading is cached, keyed to a one-way hash of your chart rather than your birth details, so you can revisit it, and so buying the full reading after a focus reading reuses what you already own instead of paying to regenerate it.
• Payments: web purchases are handled by Stripe. App subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat. We never see your full card number. We retain the account, product, status, period, amount, and tax records needed to provide access and meet bookkeeping obligations.
• Functional cookies: signed cookies that remember what you’ve purchased so you can use it. No advertising or tracking cookies.
• Purchase restore: if you choose to restore purchases on another device, we email you a one-time code and link your purchases to that email. No password is ever created or stored.
• Product events: for signed-in accounts we record a small set of events such as sign-in, purchase, and opening or consuming a reading. We do not put birth details, questions, chat text, or generated reading text in those events.
• Location: optional. If you tap to use your current location, the app asks the operating system for a coarse fix and turns it into a city name to prefill the field. The city, and the coordinates behind it, are used to place your chart and time your day. Decline the permission and you can still type the city yourself.
• Reminders: optional. Daily reminders are scheduled on your device. If you allow notifications we store a push token and your time zone so a reminder can be sent at your local morning rather than ours. No reading text is put in a notification.
• Practices and check-ins: the practices you take on, whether you marked them done or skipped, how they felt, and any note you write. Notes are your own words, stay on your account, and are never shown to anyone else.
• Reflection questions: the question you ask and the cards you draw are sent to generate the answer. The conversation is kept so you can reopen the thread.
• Content reports: if you report a generated reading, we store the reason you chose, an extract of the text you were shown, and any note you add, so we can review it and tighten what the model may return.

Legal bases

Performance of a contract (to deliver what you bought) and legal obligation (accounting and VAT record-keeping).

Processors

• Stripe: payment processing.
• Apple and Google: in-app subscription billing.
• RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase lifecycle management.
• Microsoft Azure: hosting and database, in an EU region.
• Azure OpenAI and Anthropic Claude (via Azure AI Foundry): generate your reading and chat text (content is not retained for training).
• Azure Communication Services: sends a reading by email only when you ask.
• Open-Meteo: turns a place name into coordinates so a chart can be cast.
• Expo: delivers push notifications to your device when you enable reminders.

Retention

Order and VAT records are kept for about five years as required by Danish law. Circle details remain until you remove the person or delete your account. One-time login codes expire quickly. Chat content is sent for generation but is not stored in the account database. Generated readings may be cached under a one-way chart fingerprint so repeat requests do not regenerate the same result. Practices, check-ins, and reflection threads remain until you delete your account. A push token is removed when it stops working or you turn reminders off. Content reports tied to an account are erased with the account, and reports sent without an account are deleted within 90 days.

Age limit

Celestial Vibe is for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly create accounts or generate readings for children under 13. Circle person profiles must also be age 13 or older. Contact us if you believe information about a child under 13 has been submitted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to object to processing. You can delete individual Circle members in Circle and permanently delete your account in the app. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; that must be managed in the relevant store. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
